Day 31: Frost.

The last day of January started with frost and sunshine. Here's a view from my office at HARIBO.

Day 29: Dancing flames.

It's getting colder, so I lit the fire for warmth and cosiness.

Day 28: Grab a coke.

Day 27: Cookie-dress.

Went to the ISM (International Sweets & Biscuits Fair) in Cologne, Germany today. More than 70 countries present their newest candy, chocolate, biscuit, ... products. Every exhibitor has his own special way to attract new customers. 

Day 26: Floor.

This morning I joined my dad when he went riding with horse and carriage. This cute dog - Floor - acted as co-driver on another carriage.

Day 24: Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

Home sweet home, after 2 days of intensive meetings in Germany. I arrived at about 9pm and was a little hungry and not in the mood for cooking.

Day 23: Africa.

I'm staying in Hotel Jakobsberg in Boppard, Germany for the annual HARIBO international meeting. The hallway to my room is decorated in the Africa-theme with stuffed animals and some nice wood sculptures.

Day 22: Carpe Diem.

Eat, drink and be happy. It could be your last day.

Day 21: Shine a light on me.

Because of the dark & wet days we've had so far, and probably will have in the near future, I wanted to bring a warm light into my home.

Day 20: Haircut.

It seems that our dog Florus needs a haircut and pedicure badly!

Day 19: Horse blessing.

Today was the annual Horse Blessing in my home town. The pastor blesses every dog, horse and carriage.

Day 18: Confused: winter or spring?

During my walk this morning this poplar tree caught my attention. And especially it's fluff, which is almost transparent because of the sunlight.

Day 17: Cowgirls & cowboys.

Tonight we had our annual company party, theme 'Western'. 

Day 16: Homework.

Today I worked from home. During my break I arranged a quick selfportrait photoshoot.

Day 15: Under construction.

A few months ago I bought a 35mm SLR camera the 'Konstruktor' by Lomography. Due to lack of time, and patience, my selfmade camera is still under construction.

Day 14: Antwerpse Handjes.

Day 13: Lombardia

When we go shopping in Antwerp, we always go to 'Lombardia' for lunch. A funky place on the Lombardevest where you can enjoy some great healthy food!

Day 12: The gardian of the woods.

Today the weather was perfect for a walk in the woods (Klein Engeland Hoeve, Turnhout). My husband Diego and our dog Florus joined me.

Day 11: Daily bread.

The hotel in the Vogezen served some delicious bread with nuts & apricots each morning at breakfast.
This morning I bought one to take home. It's weight: approx. 2kg! So my husband and I will enjoy it even longer!

Day 9: Box in a box.

I'm with my colleagues in the Vogezen for a work&pleasure-trip. The hotel "Le Collet" is super charming and is packed with many lovely decorations.

Day 10: The first snow!

When I woke up this morning everything was white! The first snow of the year ; each time a very special moment.

Day 8: 2 little ducks went out to play...

... over the hill and far away. Mama Duck called "quack, quack, quack" and 1 little duck came waddling back.

Day 7: 3 in a row.

On every desk at HARIBO, you can find a set of 3 bears. They watch over us while we work and create the best candy in the world!

Day 6: Let's Samba!

Last December we had our Christmas Party @ work and the theme was 'Brazil'. These colourfull maracas were part of the decoration.

Day 5: Nibble, nibble, gnaw...

As a present for his New Year's letter my godchild got the game 'Knibbel, knabbel, knuisje' which is bases on the fairytale of Hansel & Gretel.

Day 4: Taking a bath.

After a nice day shopping in Roermond I treated myself with a nice hot bath.

Day 3: My home is your castle.

For my husband's birthday I treated him with a gastronomic arrangement in a little castle ''t Kasteeltje Hattem' in Roermond (NL).

Day 2: Driving on the Highway.

I live nearby the highway E34 Antwerpen-Eindhoven.
The advantage of it: fast getaway.
The disadvantage of it: noisy.

Day 1: The day after.

I went to Lier today and saw that the town was still recovering from New Year's Eve.
