Yesterday evening my dearest grandmother died at the age of 84.

Today was "Dag van het DKO" and all the departments and the classrooms of the Kunstacademie Turnhout were open for the public.
Ruth, Tessa and I planned a whole day of portrait photography in our studio.
One of our models was my dear husband.

Day 51: End of the day ritual.

At the end of each day I have the same ritual: demake-up, cleansing and hydration of my face. A kind of mini-mini me-time.

I went to the Huishoudbeurs in Amsterdam today. What an experience!

Day 48: My new toy.

Today my new toy was delivered! The beginning of a new episode in my photographic life.
Me so happy :-)

Day 47: Rugbymatch.

Today the Turnhout Aces played against the rugbyteam of Waregem.
For me the opportunity to use my 100-300mm lens and try some sport photography.

Ironing is one of those household jobs that I do not like to do at all! I am a hater.

A computer mouse isn't really an interesting subject in itself. But by adding reflection and shooting it from this position, I changed it's identity. 

If I only could erase the brandname, my story would be plausible... perhaps.

Day 40: Longing for the summer!

It's a grey sunday with lot's of rain and wind. Dog weather!
At such times I long for the summer and its warm summer evenings.

Day 39: Deciding what to post...

It's 23h45 and I still don't know what to post today. The clock is ticking... but then at the last minute!

Day 38: The sun is shining in Belgium.

Today I worked in the office of HARIBO in Breda, the Netherlands. It was a grey, rainy and windy day so I was pleased to see some sunshine on my way back to home. Hopefully the suns stays in Belgium for the weekend. (this photo is taken with my IPhone)

 

Day 37: Skyeskyns.

Skyeskyns, manufacturers and suppliers of finest quality sheepskins, is a family business established on the Isle of Skye in 1983. Day 36: Reflection in the mirror.

In search of a good subject for my pic of today, I bumped into my own reflection in the mirror.

Day 34: 20% and growing.

When I left my work the moon was clear and present in the sky. I looked it up on the internet and today the lunar phase is at 20% and growing.
Unfortunately my 50mm lens doesn't cope with the distance earth-moon.

Day 33: Red berries in the sky.

Went for a walk this afternoon and spotted some red berries.
